Farella Vineyard is a family owned vineyard and winery based out of the new Coombsville appellation in Napa Valley. They planted the first Cabernet Sauvignon vines in the Coombsville-Napa valley AVA, it is also the home of the first Cabernet wine produced in the AVA.
Tom Farella has been the winemaker and manager for many years. Tom studied at UC Davis ultimately earning his degree in Viticulture and Enology. He also gained valuable International perspective on wine making from time working in Burgundy, France. Farella makes about 1200 cases and as a result is not a huge winery; individual attention is given to every wine they make.
