Renowned for creating the first designated and licensed Meritage wine, Bordeaux inspired blend that set the standard that others would follow in Napa Valley. Founded by self-taught winemaker Mitch Cosentino in 1980.
After moving to the Napa Valley in 1990 he has since been responsible for creating, designing and building nine wineries in the Napa Valley and Lodi. Mitch was also the early winemaker for Napa brands such as Gemstone and Hoopes.
Today Cosentino Winery has grown in quality and reputation and continues to gain recognition for innovative winemaking under the direction of winemaker Marty Peterson. After over 35 years of winemaking, our commitment to the future is still focused on producing quality ultra-premium wines.
