Altamura Winery

Altamura Winery is locate in Napa Valley’s Wooden Valley. Altamura has been producing some of California’s finest wines since 1985. They practice an exacting, no compromise policy in the vineyard where 90% of the wine is made. All of Altamuras wines are 100% varietal and 100% estate grown in Wooden Valley. Many of the early vintages of Cabernet Sauvignon were sourced from a vineyard located on a sprawling 400 acre Altamura Ranch in historic Wooden Valley that had been settled by members of Karen Altamura’s family in 1855.
Altamura’s produces wine varietals that are not only unique but also attractive to the enologist eclectic tastes and include not only Cabernet Sauvignons but also Sangiovese, Savignon Blanck, Negroamaro and Nebbiolo.
