When making the journey from Oakland to Napa Valley, there will likely be one thing at the forefront of your mind: Wine!

This 13th century inspired castle is the perfect setting for a spot of wine tasting and has some breathtaking views from the top of its turrets.
We recommend the Chateau Montelena Winery too. Oakland to Napa Valley Restaurants
A trip from Oakland to Napa Valley offers so much more than a glass (or two) of wine! There are some truly fabulous places to eat too, from small specialist locations to some popular, highly-awarded brands. Visit Napa Valley The Great Outdoors
After getting your fill of world-class wines and delicious foods, why not do something else with your time? There is much to do after you have taken the journey from Oakland to Napa Valley, so do something that interests you. You could take one of the Wine Country bike tours, or take a trek through the redwood forests.
If you would rather see Napa Valley without exerting your body, you could also take a balloon ride over the lush vineyards beneath.
